Loved the beginning - hated the snare roll - actually it was unecessary at 50 something seconds.
The kick was weak, and poor hat sounds.
The main lead transition was not smooth, and the main lead didn't actually add anything to the song.
Liked the first half of this song :)
Basically read kazm0's review.
Fix drums, make a new main melo and.. ill give 10 stars :)

Is it really trance?

Yeah, fix up the drum samples - change them around it doenst fit at all - takes away from the main song.
Add some more sounds - and organise and structure it into a proper song so as not to have the main melo going all the way through.
It gets a bit annoying though... Only listend to it twice and it got annoying :S

Nice tune :) Could have some more FX in there would be nice, and maybe made longer, with a big into, and proper build up etc. Otherwise sounds good.
Aint no real climax or anything to the song - needs one! But other than that a good dance tune :)

Hmm..

Intro doesnt grab me that much :( Not a big fan of the melo you made... Could maybe have a bit more ambience to that melo :) I like the synth sound that comes in at 45 secs or so. Not too keen on the drum sounds - a bit simple and basic - Try working with effects.. And the kick a bit weak.
Basically overall - this song would be pretty good if you added some FX and added some more delay and reverb to make it a bit more spooky - ish and ambient :)

Nothing in the drum department here is stock. This is all custom mix synths for the drum VSTis. I do agree, the kick could've used a bit more compressing, but on a laptop, i can only handle so much sound saturation during the creation process, so it can often be difficult ot judge how loud the kick should be/is. But meh, thanks for your input. I appreciate you taking time to review it.

Grabbed Me From The Start!

Huzzah SOME REAL MUSIC!
After listening to so much rubbish on NG, its nice to hear some REAL MUSIC!!! :)
Catchy intro, draws you straight in at the beginning. Some Nice synth sounds there.
Good driving bass and good choice of hats. 1:08 - builds up into another melody.
1:40 - hear the changes in the bass :)All towards the 2:06 build up!
Awesome effect sounds!!!!!! Love them all, but not sure if they're a bit too much, maybe fade them out a bit, and add some more reverb, and a long delay to them. Maybe add an effect to them too. Alot of nice sounds, but i think it detracts from the main build up to much.
3:20 Still building up to a mysterious epic trance synth :) EPIC BUILD UP SO FAR!
3:59 - hear the trance lead come in :)
4:16 Getting ready to rave!!!
4:29... Hmm the main lead wasnt as huge as i'd expected it to be after a epic build up. The main lead a bit faded out.. :( But love the sweep synths and the bass drives the song along!
Then towards end of song, great ending :) Good effects and sounds :)

My only one problem with this was the main lead wasnt epic enough.
But you get my 5 rating :)

Like fredgy said - empty.

can only be described as pretty empty. Changes to much, and doesnt really blend together well. No effects at all used with the sounds. Really bland, and quite jumpy. Dont like it. :(
Synths dont fit, and drum changes are poor.

Alright...

Ok, firstly the drum sounds are very basic, no variation, and it gets a bit boring. Add effects to the drums, more fills, variations. Its just the same and its annoying. Weak kick, poor snare, tacky hats - change the samples used.
The synths are very 'preset' - and no real variation in the melody. Too repetitive and annoying. Needs more synth sounds, and diff melody.
And whatever comes in at 1:03 sounds horrible.
To improve, change up the melody, add FX in there, and make it have more of a structure - for example actually listen to a trance song any you'll hear what i mean.
There's no real structure or climax to it.
So. Until at LEAST these changes are made then its only 3 stars.

Now for the Dj Xeon review :)

Ok, here we go.
Starts al peaceful, epic pads, relaxing and angelic sounds. Very ambient. Very soothing. Sounds a little like some of Above and Beyond's stuff the begginning. :) I like it!
Hear that lead start to fade in...
Then bang straight into it!
Firstly im not sure i like the actual lead. It might just be the sound, or the melody it's playing.. Doesnt get my 100%
Then the rest of the song is alright..
Taking into consideration that this is only a experimental/demo and that im playing it through my tinny laptop speakers, i dont think im giving it justice, but i dont think i like the blend of the ambient pads and the 2nd half/main part of the song.
I did like the gated effect though!
I would totally make this ambient, like a soundscape.
So summing it all up. Love the pads, hate the lead, can see the potential of Massive :)
I want to hear more work with Massive - project comet or somthing? :P

It's pretty versitale (??) and very easy to use unlike some other synths, especially FM based oh well.
like i said, i'm not sure if wwill be able to finish it. We'll see. ill finish project comet first :p ( maybe with some virus )
